Working Capital

Working Capital loan is a loan which enables the foreign Importer to acquire U.S. content Export. Basically, it is a loan to the foreign buyer through the U.S. Exporter. It is a short-term loan. (Typically 90 days or 180 days, 1 year in some cases).

Project Finance

Project Finance refers to the financing of construction projects. Project finance can be limited recourse or full recourse. Limited recourse project loan are for new constructions or development (“greenfield”), full recourse loan rely on the credit of the borrowers, the Project Finance loans are medium-term or long-term in general.

Guaranteed Loans

A guaranteed loan is an EXIM Guarantee, which the foreign Importer can take to a commercial bank in the country of the Importer or U.S.; the intermediary bank can sign a loan in reliance on the EXIM guarantee. In the worst scenario, if the borrowers (Foreign Importer) fail to make the loan payment, the bank will seek reimbursement from the EXIM.

Corporate Loans

A corporate loan is a loan that is based on the credit worthiness of the borrowers, both the foreign Importer or U.S. Exporter can apply for this loan for expansion of operation. This loan is for existing business not for new company.
