Cassona Global Imaging Ltd Company (“Cassona” or, the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jonathan Semetey as General Manager for the Company. Mr. Semetey will be responsible for executing the Company’s strategy, alongside senior management, in respect of key relationship and Project management for the Company. Mr. Semetey joined the Company in his new role, based out of the Accra office, effective December 1, 2022.

About Jonathan Semetey

Mr. Semetey brings on board profound experience in medical imaging following over two decades of clinical practice at Korle-bu Teaching Hospital (the largest teaching hospital in Ghana), FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital (a non-profit organization established in 1998 in the United States and Ghana), and other well-known private and public hospitals in Ghana. His competence extends to clinical ultrasound, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging with a bachelor’s degree in medical imaging and post-graduate qualifications in medical imaging from the University of Ghana, one of the best institutions in sub-Saharan Africa.

In the heat of COVID-19, he served as a leader of the CT scan frontline staff in Ghana. This experience has rejuvenated his passion for Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa to have access to diagnostic imaging equipment to improve the private healthcare industry throughout the region. As the General manager, his goal is to make state-of-art U.S. refurbished medical imaging equipment accessible and affordable to all healthcare facilities in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa through the expansion of Cassona Global Imaging.
